There are many interesting towns and sites to visit in Brittany - here is a selection

Being virtually in the centre of Brittany, we are within easy reach of both the northern and southern coasts.  There are many "Blue Flag" beaches in Brittany and most of them in our department of Morbihan.  We are also surrounded by beautiful countryside for walking and cycling and exploring the environs and discovering wildlife all year round.  There are many varieties of birds including birds of prey such as buzzards, falcons and hawks.  Also discover exotic butterflies and wildflowers.  We have wild boar and deer in the woods and fields.

Our nearest town is Guemene-sur-Scorff which is approximately 10 km from Kervinic.  Guemene is an attractive medival town with cobbled streets and plenty of interesting buildings.  There is a large Intermarche supermarket, bars, banks, post office, chemists, doctors, dentists, launderette and local shops.

Pontivy is 25 km away with its medival chateau, bars, banks, market and shopping.  The Nantes/Brest canal and Blavet River run through the centre of the town and there are boat trips and canoe hire. The Blavet Valley is nearby with towns and villages alongside the river.

Auray is an attractive ancient town built on the banks of the River Auray.  The old port of St-Goustan has some beautiful 15th century houses and cobbled streets with cafes and restaurants on the quay.

Lac Guerledan is a magnificent stretch of water surrounded by trees nearby and one of the finest sights in inland Brittany, with all water sport facilities including swimming.  Nearby is the 12th century Cistercian Abbey of Bon Repos which holds an extremely popular "Son et Lumiere" show every August.

Brittany has a great Celtic history and Morbihan in particular has many famous world-heritage historial sites from prehistoric times.  Lorient hold a Celtic Music Festival in August which is very popular with locals and holiday-makers.
